Arena 8 - Hog Rider Deck (NO LEGENDARIES)

So I'm level 8 at the moment in Frozen Peak and I have a passion for Hog Rider decks. I am a F2P (Free to Play) player who has been playing for about 8 months, so as you can imagine, I have little to no legendary cards, much like a lot of you I'm guessing. 

Ever since I got to Arena 4 back in the day, I got the hog rider card. I remembered him back from when I used to play Clash of Clans and I loved him! Now, my passion for him has transferred to Clash Royale. 

Now, lets get to the deck:

Hog Rider, Goblins, Minions, Archers, Mini Pekka, Zap, Fireball, Cannon














Hog Rider: He is the main card in the deck, and your win condition. The Hog Rider is a fast paced unit that attacks buildings. He deals decent damage with good health and high speed. You will usually be comboing with him with the Goblins or the Minions because they are also fast paced units and are great support cards. You won't usually be comboing with him with the Mini Pekka or the Archers unless you're using them as defense. You can combo him with the Goblins and Minions when on defense as well, but I meant when just pushing and no defending. He can also be used as distraction at times when in a pinch.

Goblins: The Goblins will be used as distracting as well as for defending. The Goblins are cheap, fast attacking, high DPS (damage per second) units that work well in many decks. Good for taking out mini tank units as well as the big tank units, they can be comboed with the Hog after the defense for a counter-push. Although highly susceptible to zap (if at the right level), you can use minions instead.

Minions: The Goblins of the Sky. Minions are basically the Goblins of the sky. The main differences are; they don't get 1 shot by zap(again, if at the right level) and they deal a bit less damage.

Archers: You only have 2 troops that attack air in this deck: the Minions, and the Archers. Archers are a great defense as well as a counter-push. IMO (In my opinion) Archers are a better card than the Spear Goblins and the Mega(Meta) Minion, at least at the moment. The meta right now(at least for top/high play) is Elite Barbarians. They are very tough. Archers do a great job defending. The Spear Goblins are easily zappable, and the Meta Minion cannot distract them and is way too slow to keep up with the Elite Barbs.

Mini Pekka: Mini Pekka is the mini tank in the deck, great for taking out other mini tanks and tougher tanks. It has very high single hit damage but hits pretty slow.

Zap: Small troops (Spear Goblins, Minions, Skeleton Army (SA). Great for stunning troops as it gives you time. 

*A single zap prevents Meta Minion from attacking tower.*

Fireball: Barbarians, etc.

Cannon: distraction, bait, etc.
